From here, head out to St John Brook Conservation Park, where you will find the serene and tranquil waters of Barrabup Pool. This is a popular watering hole that is surrounded by tall native trees that provide graceful shade while you float or swim in the pool.
Jetty Baths is one of Bunbury’s favourite family friendly spots! With shallow and still waters , parents can relax from the shaded grassy spots and let the kids run around building sandcastles and splash about in the waters. Located on the Frankland River, this pool is known for its tannin-rich water that appears deep red or brown, especially after rainfall. Built in the 1920s for the families of timber workers to have a dip, Pemberton Pool is now a beloved local swimming hole. Surrounded by Karri trees, it’s a peaceful place to cool off on a hot summer’s day, or if you’re looking for a nice day out. The Pemberton Forest where Pemberton Pool lives is also home to 22 kilometres of mountain bike tracks, making it the perfect place for adrenaline lovers to visit.
